PING Doc 15

I just opened the box, what a beast. Very interesting feel, a bit of a difference from the TP Mills. I can't really explain it, just feels odd. I'm off to putt around and maybe play nine in a few minutes and I'll update after.

I've grown to like the strange feel of this thing. It's a snap to line up, but my distance control was a little off. Leaving it both short and long. This thing feels pretty light, so I'm going to put a bunch of lead tape on the head to see if it makes a difference.

I'm still adjusting to my Doc17 and I agree with the "interesting" feel description. I found my distance control to be pretty damn good from the get go but every now again one will get away. It isn't dialed in just yet but I know I like it!

Keep the updates coming!

All those large head putters seem light to me. I went to a Redwood Anser and it's perfect (heavier). Of course there are the Rife and some others that are a little heavier. The 2-ball I had was hard to control distance on.
