Rattler putter grip

Please ignore the hissing sound coming from my golf bag. How do you review a putter grip? Can't really say a lot, but I will give it a go.

I bought a Rattler putter grip from Grip Master and had it installed on my Scotty Cameron putter. The guy that installed it was ecstatic. He had never seen anything like it in 25 years of clubmaking.

Have practiced with it twice and played once on my own ball and once in a scramble. I am putting really well right now. Possibly a coincidence, but maybe not.

You wouldn't think it would make a difference, but for me (so far) the feel has been outstanding. I like a leather putter grip and this is sort of like a soft leather. It has a stitchback. It feels like it fuses and shapes to your putting grip.

For most people it is probably a vanity purchase and it is. However, the cool factor and confidence that I have get my endorsement.

Is it actual snake skin? Either way, it's awesome.

I'm betting they're real snakeskins and the price probably reflects the snakebites needed to harvest them... But do they come in Eastern Diamondback, Western Diamondback, Timber or Sidewinder?

Do they come with a complimentary snakeskin Gstring for the misses?

Yeah...unless it comes with a russian mail order bride as well...not worth my $100

Cool factor is definatly up there though...i will give you that.

Agreed about the price, but surprisingly worth it. Did not go the $200 gator grip. I recently won a nice sum of cash in a skins game and bought this grip and a new rangefinder as a gift to myself.

No doubt it's sharp looking. And the fact that you bought it with golf winnings makes it worth while. Nice pick up there Salt Vamp.

Anyone look at the rabbit fur grip they have?
Has to be the weirdest thing I have ever seen that's golf related.

Never ceases to amaze me why a person would pay $100 for somebody to murder an innocent animal just so they can wear its skin on their putter like some kind of macabre trophy, when for less than $15 you can get a manmade putter grip from Winn or any other manufacturer that will feel and perform much better.

News Flash: The only place a rattler skin looks cool is on a rattler. Phillistines.
