Tiger Woods 2009

OK so not really "equipment"... but... yeah...

Picked the game up a few days ago for PS3. Anyone else playing?

It's got some really nice features. Graphics are a massive improvement over the last few installments. Gameplay is smooth. The Tiger challenges are really fun, some of them are starting to get tougher. I've already whooped up on Donald, Rose, Camillo, Gulbis, and Monty... got my sights set on Annika next! The club tuner and all the Hank Haney swing coach stuff are kinda worthless IMO... I guess it's a neat feature to mess around with, but I could take it or leave it. I like how you can also save shots that you've pulled off, then upload them as a challenge to see if others can pull off the same shot. Another pretty cool feature is the photo game face.. take a picture of yourself and upload it, then you get a video game copy of yourself. I was actually impressed with how well it turned out.

I have 08 for PS2...i am behind the times...but its pretty fun. I'm sure 09 is even better!

lol...thats for sure. I would love to have a PS3...there is such a huge game base for it.

I have been spending my money in other ways...i dont haev much time to spend playing video games anymore so i have a hard time justifying 300+ on something i might use once a month...

I might pick one up cheap used or something...not sure

I know the feeling. Pretty much mine just collects dust during the summer. But it's nice for winter months.

Honestly I want a PS3 just because of MGS:4.

How is the equipment breakdown? I noticed that in Tiger Woods they usually use older equipment, like in 08 I can only get a FT-3. Is that updated?

MGS:4 was an awesome game!

Looks like new equipment. I really haven't looked at everything... mainly cause it's not unlocked or I don't have enough $$$(hey kinda like real life!~)... but anyway, right now I have a Tour Burner driver. I've also got a Cally FT Hybrid. I'll look tonight and check for sure.

Sweet, that makes me want to get it. Hopefully the FT-i is in there, or at least some of the new Nikes.

Don't talk about Guns of the Patriots in front of me. It's the only reason I keep looking at PS3's. I'm totally over the video game thing in my life, but MGS has always been one of, if not THE best game series I ever played.

FT-i, FT-5, SQ 5000, SQ, SQ 5900, Burner TP, Tour Burner, Burner, r7 CGB Max, Cobra L4V . . . are all in the game. Can't think of any other off the top of my head.

Of course, no Titleist stuff yet again. No idea why. They won't even let you get a Titleist hat - even though Adam Scott is wearing one in the game. The putter selection sucks.

Titleist won't put there stuff in any of the TW games because of tensions between Nike and Titleist at least that is what I have heard before who knows???

Lots of Mizzuno, Bridgestone, McGreggor, and Cleveland in there as well. Yeah I saw the Titleist logo on the back of Camillo's hat. I just assume it's because Tiger used to play Titty and Nike probably has it in their contract with EA to not include it in the game.

I hear they're releasing updates to the game every month. Just to keep up with the new TM drivers being released.
