Mizuno mx500

Good Morning,

Newbie here. Great board! Has anyone hit the new Mizuno Driver (MX500). I tried it out yesterday and liked it, but was curious about the shaft. I swing about 110mph and used the stiff shaft. My question is, how is the Mizuno stock shaft? Should I look into a custom shaft? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

That is relatively quick. Would look into trying the Graphaloy Blue in it, mate. Go for the 'S', although the Reg. in it would be just as firm as the Exstar 60 'S', imo.

I had the exstar in my 7-wood and found it too soft. Put a Graphaloy Blue in it, and although I cut it both butt *and* tip trim, it is now a far superior weapon.

Give it a go, mate..

Hey, I just bought hte Mp-001 with a regular shaft in it and i swing arounf 100 mph and control it beutifuly with the reg shaft. I have hit it with the stiff in there to and liked it just fine as well. Far as I'm concerened the stock shaft is fine.

I have the MX 500 regular and its a little whippy but I hit it OK. I did however go with the Stiff in the 3Wood and love the feel so I am always questioning my choice on the driver.
