One Owner of All Shaft Brands?

A guy at work claimed (when he was talking to a high up with one of the shaft companies) that most all of the small and large shaft companies (grafalloy, Accuflex etc) are owned by one large company (True Temper?). Is this a bunch of bs or does anyone really know about this?

They own UST as well ie V2, proforce etc. Accuflex is independently owned. Fuji and Mitsubishi are subsidiary companys of larger corporations I think

Kind of away from the subject yet still fairly close, but I noticed in the recent Golf Galaxy add that the recent Callaway fitting stations have screw in shafts so you can try any shaft on all the club heads to find the correct shaft.

That's described in Callaway's website and it's an excellent idea. Don't know why others don't follow.
