She's a Keeper!!

The driver... maybe, my GF, for sure!! She just got a nice bonus from work and let me have a little early birthday present. It's a thing of beauty!!

Lol, she says "You aren't going to sell this one next week, right.".

Give it two months and they'll have released the 'TM MegaOcho' and you'll have to pretend it's your birthday coming up all over again...

This is going to totally throw off your setup options and rebuilding plan. Oh well gives me something to follow for the next month while waiting for snow to melt.

I talked extensively to the manager at Golfer's Warehouse and the difference between the 425 and Superquad should be a little more forgiveness and a little more distance. The shaft is basically the same, looks exactly the same, same specs. He says they incorporated the Rombax technology into this one though. Man I can't wait to get it out on the range. Sunday for sure. It's pouring rain and flood conditions here now, tomorrow I have to work.

I'll easily sell off the other 2 drivers and complete my setup now. I actually still have a bunch of $$ in Paypal now. Holding out for clubs I want from GG but getting ancy.

On what basis is he saying the Superquad will be a 'little bit longer' than the 425? As for the same specs,I highly doubt the Superquad has a tip stiff 2.8 torque Rombax shaft, although I could be wrong

ps I've hit the standard R7 460 with a soft Tip non Rombax and its a totally different shaft to the that in the 9.5 425TP,chalk and cheese

I've got to say that I love the looks of that driver. Please let us know "after the honeymoon" what you really think. Next to the 905 series, I think it is the best looking driver out there, and certainly the baddest.

To answer a few questions... The shaft is mid tip, mid bend 65-S. Looks the same as the 425 stock shaft but I'll check on TM's site to see. I am winning a bid on a Z-Com TW-74 so that's also a consideration. I am going with more mid-mid after hitting the 425 yesterday. They launch higher and "kick" at impact. I felt like I could smooth the 425 270 with no effort, like I'm hitting a 140yd. 8iron.

The loft is 9.5*, I discussed this with the manager, I want relatively the same ballflight as the 425. So I'm hoping for a little more distance, slightly more forgiving and larger sweet spot than the 425.

No deal on this, $427 after tax. Hey, what would you do if your girl/wife said "Honey I just got a huge bonus and I want to get something for you". Heck yes!
