The r7 460 is crap right?

I was under the impression EVERYONE hated the 460 but after a quick search people seem to like it.

What are your thoughts on the 460?

It's a decent stick but the 425 and the Superquad are better IMO. It's the one TM dating from about 2001-Present that I haven't owned, if that means anything.

There are probably some TM haters out there. I have a new one in my bag only have hit it twice but so far so good I was absolutely crushing it and that’s hitting a club for the first time since early Sept. I have never hit a driver better on the range. It’s a little early but I know it’s better than the TM R 540 and Cleveland Launcher 400 that I owned previously. Say what you want about the movable weights maybe they work maybe they don’t but I will play around with some extra weight to dial in the swing weight that I like best. Right now it is playing at a D3 with the 14g in the heel 2g in the toe. I have a 4g, and a 6g I can put in the toe if I want to move the swing weight to D4 or D5.

I just traded in my R7 460 for a Callaway FTi. I couldn't hit the R7 anywhere except on the range. On the course it was a disaster. But, that's golf... one man's dream club is another man's nightmare...

The only issue I have is the soft tip they put in it,feels to soft for me but that aside is no better/worse than any other 460 out there.

There is nothing to really dislike about it

Couldn't hit two shots the same with it on the launch monitor. Hated it...

If I were given one it would be posted for sale without ever hitting a ball. For me, this driver is worse than bad.

I just demoed the R7 460 (neutral) last weekend for a couple of rounds. I would hit it along with my buddy on about 3 holes a round after we had both already hit our 905s. I will say that I like the look at address, and I love the sound of it, but it was consistently 5-10 yds shy of our 905s. I was driving the ball exceptionally well last week as well, so I don't think it was just a "bad day driving". It could be the shaft, it was an NV, but then again my buddy was using an DG S300 steel shaft in his 905T and still had the same results.

It's a great club, just depends on what you want and how you hit it.

I'm truly torn, I love my 460 and my 425, I don't know which I rather play.
