trade-in vs ho - Shot Talk

I know you have experience with this - have you generally had a better return through trade-ins or hoing on ebay or other sites (classifieds here for example)?

Still early in the process, but I'm thinking about dumping a set of MacGregor 1025cm's with Rifle 6.0s - they're really nice clubs, just too stiff for me and going the custom route

Ebay or classifieds on a golf forum. Trading in only gets you credit towards merchandise at that particular store or vendor. Most pay the lowest PGA value guide price if you are lucky. If you haven't sold anything before on Ebay I/we can help you out with that.

i would go with on ebay or a golf forum. you will get more for them, and it wont just be credit at one perticular store.

Classifieds, by far. E-bay can be a crap shoot. But, it can work wonders. If you have some stuff, post it here with some prices. You'll get a good audience and most guys will offer pricing if you're way off base.

Or, if it sells in 9 minutes, you asked too little. Not that I'd know...
