AccuFlex Evolution and NP-99 review

I would have to say that this shaft is rather harsh at fast tempo, but like at butter w/ a smooth tempo.

comparing w/ x100 and aldila NV shafts,

lost distance w/ accuflex due to shorten length (same length as my 5wood). i was consistantly hitting around 220-230 w/ it (measuring from tee box to land marks). this is about my 5 wood distance. the ball flight is little bit higher w/ less roll. on a pured shots, it doesn't feel like i had hit the ball, but see the ball streching out forward. for some reason, it also dampen the sound when the ball is hit. so how well i hit relative to the sound of club hitting the ball was misleading.

so far i really like it. i might have to get a butt plug (this sounds too naughty) and lengthen it about an inch.

Rock, was the grip installed w/ tape and solvent?

Tape and solvent, yes.

That shaft is a regular and untipped. It should respond better to a smooth tempo rather than really getting after it.

I'm with you on the pured shots. When you hit it on the screws, it feels like you just hit an orange.
