1. If you carry Cleveland irons, you MUST carry Cleveland wedges. No way can you be caught with another brand's wedges in with Cleveland irons. Likewise, never carry Cleveland woods unless you have their wedges in the bag. You can carry Cleveland wedges with most any brand of clubs.
2. If you carry Ping woods or wedges, you MUST carry Ping irons. You can carry Ping irons with most any other brand of woods and wedges. Never mix a Ping woods with any other brand of irons.
3. Callaway irons and TM irons MUST be accompanied with their respective drivers and fairways. You can carry Callaway and TM drivers and fairways with most any other brand of irons, but not visa versa. And, NEVER... NEVER dare to carry a TM driver with Callaway irons or a Callaway driver with TM irons. Either of those mixes are grounds for immediate removal from any course of renown.
4. Age 35 or under, you may carry any or all Nike clubs. Age 36 and older, you must NOT be caught with anything in the bag that sports a Swoosh! The upper age group may wear Nike shoes and clothing, but don't even think about a Nike club! If you are in that younger age group and are carrying all Nike irons and woods, you may add a Nike putter. No one other than those carrying a complete Nike bag should be caught with a Nike putter.
5. If you have Mizuno irons, you may carry other Mizzy items... woods, fairways, wedges. You must NOT be caught with a Mizuno wood or wedge with any other brand of irons. You may carry Mizzy irons with most any brand wood or wedge (except Ping or Cleveland).
6. Be very careful with cart bags. Ogio's, Datrek, etc are good with any brand clubs. OEM bags must be used with caution. Do NOT carry a big OEM cart bag loaded with all 14 clubs of that brand. The immediate reaction is "HUGE douche bag" with far too much money and not any glimpse of a game!! You may carry a TM bag as long as you have TM woods. You CANNOT carry a TM bag with ANY other woods. You may carry a Ping bag if you have Ping irons. You CANNOT carry a Ping bag with any other irons. (Talking about the big cart bags, not carry bags!) ONLY Mizzy irons in a Mizzy bag! Only Callaway woods in a Callaway bag.

These are all rules that I'm sure you guys are well aware of. Now and then, we just need a refresher. There is an appendix to the Rules of Golf available from the USGA (or should be) that gives all the details of what is, and is not, a douche bag. Anyone is welcome to add to the list I have started.
How about Titleist bags? I have a Titleist bag and my setups are as below... Hehehehe... I am thinking about getting FT5 Tour or 907D1 or D2. kekeke...

The Titleist bag is okay. For years, their balls have taken the pressure off recognizing such as a douche bag. You can place most any brand clubs in a Titleist bag. But.... You have RAC irons???? If you would even dream of putting anything other than a TM driver in with those irons, you're outta here!!!! Two options... and only two prevail. Add a TM driver or change irons! It's the rules....

I must be a DB as well. I bought a Ping Trailblazer cart bag over a year ago (before I went hard core anti-Ping) based solely on its design and function. I do not own any Ping clubs (probably never will) and stocked it with my GS equipment I made.

I have since replaced it with an Ogio Atlas bag, so my DBness has diminished a bit.

I do hope you all took this in the vein it was meant. I am certainly no in anyway serious. I'd take a complete bag and clubs from any manufacturer. I've mixed and matched over the years. That's a lot of the fun of this game... playing with different design clubs and different manufacturer's clubs. Certainly didn't want anyone to think I was serious with the attempt to stimulate dialogue!!!!

No biggee, no offense taken. I was having fun with it as well. Why else would we post here?

My personal pet peave is the dude with the full tour set up from a big name OEM, in a matching tour staff bag, filled with X or XX shafts, who can not launch the ball above 10 feet the whole round, and I have the misfortune of being in the group behind him having to witness his awesome display of 75 yard worm burners all day. As long as he is having fun and lets us play through I guess all is good.

During my round, this past Sunday, I was reminded of a discussion many years ago. Hence, the resurrection of the douche bag topic. Seemed like a thread in which it would fit.

Stuck out of town for the weekend, I visted a recommended course as a single, walk-on. Was paired with two neat guys. These young men (mid 30's, but that's young to this ol' man) were polite, respectful of the game, and a joy to play a round of golf with.

One had a beautiful TM staff bag. R7/460 driver, R5 fairways, R7 irons, RAC wedges, Monza putter. Even had iron covers for his irons. Thousands wrapped up in this all TM bag. His partners mirrored him with Callaway. Fusion driver, Fusion fairways, Fusion hybrid, Fusion irons... all in a brand new Callaway staff bag. I did not inquire where he purchase his iron covers that were monogrammed with his initials. Again, a huge investment in his 'tools' with which to enjoy this game.

On the first tee, both sky'd/sliced drives out of bounds. There has to be a sky mark on the top of the Fusion driver. Mr. TM, all day, lined up at about a 45 degree angle to the left so his big bannana ball would find its way back towards the short grass. I can not believe either of these gentlemen broke 100. Would not have even wanted to cough up the money they lost in balls!!!

I know they wondered about my ol'd BeCu Pings and 'mystery' driver under the Tabasco head cover. Had not played this course before and hadn't played much this winter. Not my best round, but a respectable 43/39. The young gentlemen were very complimentary. Again, it was a fun round.

Whatever clubs and bag you desire to enjoy this great game... so be it! Whatever clubs and bag give you the conficence to play your best golf... go for it! Again, just some fun discussion especially after my round with Mr. TM and Mr. Callaway.

Absolutely didn't take you seriously. If I can't laugh at myself a little, I have some serious issues.
