Has anybody seen this putter yet? I saw it for the 1st time today in Direct golfs latest gear catalog. It reminds me of a 2 ball crossed with a Scotty DeTour. Apparently Morgan Pressel used one at the weekend. For those of you who haven't seen it yet it is basically the same shape as the 2 ball range (mallet, Blade & horse shoe) but instead of 2 balls for allignment it has a long white strip with a silver line down the centre, it looks very easy to line up.

I actually think it looks pretty sharp. I like the looks of the 2-ball blade but I just didn't suit my stroke. I think this one will do quite well indeed.

I like this wayyy more than the two ball blade. Dont think the two ball should be a blade with those big white balls trailing it. This one actually looks a lot sharper.

I know I'm in the minority with this but, I really like the looks of this new Cameron. I liked the concept of the Detour but it was just entirely too big.

The concept is great, if u have that stroke. It is completely useless and will screw me royally as i putt square to square. Thats why this new Marx would fit me nicely (unless its bent in a little as the detour is, but i thought it was straight).

I thought the upcoming Newport Detour has a straight line instead of a curved one like the other detour model...

According to the SC web site, it is straight for an inch and then begins to curve. I've yet to see one in a shop but I keep checking...

Hmm... If that is the case I will stick to my Studio Style Newport... haha... Why does it look straight in the picture?

Because the picture is taken on an angle. And the curve of it isnt huge, its fairly small and u really have to look right over the top for it to be really noticable.
