NEW MIZUNO BLADES

Hi Folks,
it has been a while since i posted any threads, but now as the new season starts here in the northern cold i wanted to ask you about new Blades. More precisley, are there any new Mizuno Blades and how are they (compared to the mp33).

Good luck to everybody for the coming season

Best wishes

havent tried the mp-33, but the mp-32s and 67s should be alot easier to hit then those due to the cut muscle design.. the 67's though are harder to hit then the 32's

other then that, they are mizuno, so when struck well they are as youd expect, fantastic

if you can get a demo set to try, give them a go

yup, 32's or 67's...

the mp 67's are much more expensive, and the only difference is that they moved the small muscle cavity more to the bottom of the club...

Moving the cavity towards the bottom of the club, if I'm not mistaken, would either raise or lower the center of gravity. I think it raises it. If it is raised, then the club will be more forgiving because you will be taking the center of gravity further away from the clubface/sweet spot. Less forgiving respectively.

Honestly, as far as forgiveness in any modern blade, from my experience, it doesn't change much. A blade is a blade, one tough to hit, but workable, club. If you are wary about any blade, go with the previously suggested 32 or 67.

the mizuno site provides a lower handicap rating requirement for the 67s vs the 32s.. i've heard from a number of people they are supposed to be harder to hit.. hmm

yeah you are right..

i just thought about it, and while they did move the cavity lower, which would equal more forgiveness, they made the cavity smaller(which equals less)...

sorry, i forgot that they also made it smaller...

Thanks for your help,

I think i will give the 67`s a go. I have played my mp33 for almost 8 seasons now, i think it is time to move on ....
but the mp67 seem to me to be aworthy succesor!

About 67 vs. 32: I think the 67 are a little more difficult to hit, but more interesting are the ball flights, if i am not mistaken is the ballflight for the 67 low and for the 32 mid - high. With my 6"4 i my natural ball flight is quite high, so i prefer a lower flight club..

Mizuno has a demo day in 3 weeks at a nearby course, so i will give them a got hit there.

Thanks again,

best wishes.
