Stupid question for Taylor Made players

I am looking at maybe picking up a R5 dual TP. On taylor made's website though there are 2 listed. One the R5 Dual TP and the R5 TP. The shaft I am looking at getting is the Diamana 83, but on the R5 Dual the weight of the shaft is listed at 83g. For the R5 TP the weight of the shaft is listed as 50g. I am puzzled and am hoping someone might know the difference. I dont want to call TM cust service...THanks ALL!!!

The R5TP comes with the Diamana 83 and there is a another Mitsubishi 70g shaft they had too. Never heard of a 50g shaft from them in a Men's club? Maybe in the Burner? There's a ton of the R5TP's around used for cheap.

Yes, the Burner does have a 50g shaft in it as the stock shaft. Too long and too light for most.

Thats what I thought, I mean a 50g shaft would feel like air. The Diaman is a real Diamana too isnt it? How stiff does that play?

I don't have much experience with it but felt to flex when hitting it in the shop a few times. It's a real blueboard with the TP logo.

theres also ones in better shape at different lofts with the same shaft. just change the loft on that page and theyll come up.

Is the Mits/TM RE*AX 64 shaft a Diamana with a TM paint job? What ever shaft it is, there is no struggle getting the ball up.

Yes, it is the Diamana Blue Board 63.

As far as I know they had 2 main shafts for the 460TP's, the TP Reax and the Reax Rombax. The Rombax will say it on the shaft. I think the TP Reax is basically the same as the shafts in the Non-TP models, possibly different weight? Not really sure what's up with those if ReaX is made by Mitsubishi and Rombax is a Fujikura thing.

If I had the $$ I'd snag that thing just to disassemble it and make $50. Awesome deal there and a 2 star should be a solid 8 condition all day long. What one of my clubs looks like after a month anyway.... probably better. Plus free shipping!! Can't go wrong on that one, if you hate it you can make a profit on it.

I found it very easy to hit and it looked great in the air. Only problem was it was a good 20 yards SHORTER than my Ping or Titleist drivers.
