JamesR's 2007 Bag

Profile on my game: 16 Years old. 3 Years of golfing, play to a 14.9 handicap.

Ball Flight: My ball flight with my clubs is screwy. Irons launch high with a straight/baby draw shape to it (sometimes they balloon and I lose 5-10 yards). Woods launch low with a natural fade shape, but I can draw them to squeeze a few more yards

and if your hitting it that far why the HECK would you use a prov1X ? not dissing you, you may have reasoning, but it just seems strange to me.

SS=94MPH

Like I said, I lose distances with my irons when they baloon, and my driver launches low, because I hit it with a straight angle opposed to swinging up, its a mental thing, If I swing upwards, I hit it low on the face. I have a very steep swing but am working to round it out. And from talking to an instructor, he tells me to take the club more inside because it is easier to catch the ball on the upswing to get the low spin, high launch effect

About the ProV1x, because I hit my irons high, and they spin alot, but it screws me on the driver. I pretty much need the oopposite of how the ball characteristics are (low spin driver, high spin irons), I need my irons to spin less, and driver to elevate more

Nice looking bag. I'm sure you'll be gaining some weight and improving ballstriking and swingspeed. I'll bet your distances go up considerably this year and the shafts will be warranted.

19 what does the distance have to do with it? I thought the stiffness was ss?

great advice here.

I think you've got a great setup man. Enjoy those sticks, I love the LT2s. Very forgiving but not shovel-esque.

i know, they ARE both directly related. at those distances, id assume a driver speed of just over 90 mph, and an iron speed of about 80 mph, both of which a player would benefit more from a reg. flex shaft.

The iron shafts may be to heavy,as might the driver shaft.At the moment,but you probably haven't stopped growing
