Raw distance titaniam 24balls for $20
nike distance sft 24 for $25
top flight d2 distance 15 for $16
top flight d2 feel 15 for $16
Top flight XL/2000 30 for $16

Of all of them, the best will probably be the D2 Feel. Great ball.

You can also find them discounted at Target & Wallyworld, SOMETIMES.

I played the Nike Distance SFT last year and I'm still playing them early this year too. I like them, they feel like the old DT Titleist balls to me. I stocked up on them at Christmas for $19.99 a 24 pack.

I just picked up a 15 pack of the TopFlite D2 Feel balls to try also. I've heard good things about them too.

That would be my choice, and will likely be my ball if I can't find something I think suits me better. Although I personally still like the Strata Tour Pro's and the Maxfli Rev Tours better, which can sometimes be found for cheaper. I am also starting to see the Black Max get down towards the $20 mark, and will likely buy these when I run out of my current ball. Still not real happy with the distance and predictability of the D2 off my irons. Love it off the woods though.

Right now I still have about 6 Dozen of the Slazenger 3-Piece RD Tour's that I picked at one of those sale. Not real fond of the ball and probably the first real bust of all the Bargain Balls I have picked up.

edit 1 - Also they have the Maxfli A10 Solid at alot of the Dicks Stores for around $7. Personally, I think it stacks up pretty well to the D2 feel for a good 2 piece ball.

Thanks for this, PA. I liked the old version of the Slaz DCs and probably would have picked some of these up had I seen them on the block. Or are these those? If so, I might be persuaded to take them off your hands....

FWIW I have played my first couple of rounds of the year with the Bridgestone e6 and found it to be a pretty good ball. It feels great off the clubface although it doesn't appear to me to be particularly long--certainly no longer than the Strata profs, U-Tri tours or Maxfli Revs. I have been airmailing the greens in my first couple of rounds, but I attribute that to the newness of the MP60s, which I appear to be hitting a full 1-2 clubs further than my Mac 1025s. I have to take both sets of clubs to the range to see if my finally regrooved swing has added that much distance or if the 60s are indeed that much longer. Our other MP60 users may want to wade in on this one....

It may be worth trying a dozen for you, if you like the Slazengers. They are definately the RD Tour, but may have replaced the DC as I only remember seeing them for about a year. Certainly not bad enough to unload, and at about $10 a dozen you really can't go to wrong. They are a fairly durable ball and I don't hit them bad, I just prefer the feel of the Stratas, the Rev Tours, and some of the others I have found at that price. Actually I find them similar to some of the other Maxfli Revs that you can usually find for cheaper. I still think the Strata Tour Pro's may be my favorite cheaper ball on the market. Just came back from a round and noticed I only have 4 dozen and a dozen in my bag. I may treat myself to the Black Max for around $20 when those run out, as I seem to be going through far fewer balls now and have always been a fan of the Maxflis.

Hopefully I will be able to weigh in on the MP60s in the next week, they said 5 business days to make, and 2 to ship. It will be 5 business days tomorrow, hoping I get them around Monday.

i find that commercial very annoying, and very stupid...

why would blood come out of a golf ball? and how the hell would the ball that drives the green actually stop that fast...

I hit the MP60s more solidly than the 1025s but not any further. Maybe you weren't catching it all on your Macs? Did you keep them? I wish I would have kept mine... they are purdy

In that case, embrace it! Dude, here's my last range session:

Buy a big bucket at 1:45. Bullsh!t with the guy supplying the balls for 5 mins (New hip. Titanium. Get in Russian sub gibes, goes over big). Get the balls, set up at the end of the range, under the roof (sh!t, I have some standards, right?) Guy next to me hits the separator between the sections twice (on the other side; he's a righty too! Young guy, maybe 30.) Then leaves. New guy, late 40's, maybe 50's moves in. I stretch. Again. Again. (Shoot, I'm 47. That's old.) Begin to hit. 7 irons at the 150. Hit the sign! Again, Again! Fly the sign 4 times. Then left 20 yards. Left 30 yards. (I'm a righty.) Adjust. Over. Over. Wormburner. Over. (go on for 10 minutes):

SHANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop.

Deep breath. MAN I suck. Deep breath.

Go to the back of the stall. Stop and breathe deep again.

Guy in the next stall starts to talk.

10 minutes of absolute drivel. But a nice guy. So I smile and nod, and empathize. Talk Tiger. Phil. Shit, I talk about Rich Beem. He's no a$$hole. But he IS clueless.

Finally, he shuts up. OK, Approach the ball. CLOSE YOUR SHOULDERS, DAMMIT! Fly the marker. Again. Again. Dead on.

I really should bring my 60's. I'd fly the sign by 20 more yards. (who knew? The blades are way harder to hit, therefore way better for practice).

All throughout this time, sh!theads are walking in making noise, etc. Not my game. The 150 mark, THAT'S my game.

Back to work.

Oh, yeh. Dude, I don't sell anything I can play. I had 132 to the center of the green with trailing winds and used the 9i, airmailing by 7-10 yd. My gap wedge woulda been enuf.

Sh!t, if I just coulda pitched & putted. All my long shots were par or less.

Kick your ass (well, last week anyways! )

Nuthin' but luv.
