Quick shoe question

Anyone have both FJ's and Adidas shoes lately? I have a pair of Adidas but the label inside is gone. My question is to width. My FJ's seem rather wide and I'd want the same as my Adidas for the new pair. Anyone know how the wide Adidas are in comparison to the FJ's?

I don't have either, but have noticed with sneakers that the addidas generally run narrower than other brands

If you're looking for a new pair, I think they're something you have to try on at a local store before placing an order through a website

Thanks. I think I'm supposed to order them tonight so I'll probably just go wide to be safe.

I've found that the Adidas shoes I've owned were a bit on the narrow side but the sizing was pretty close to sneaker sizing.

The Footjoys I've owned were the widest and and a little larger sized than the same sneaker size. I had to go half a size smaller than my sneaker size.

Nikes fit me pretty much the same width and size as my normal sneaker size.

I bought a pair of Hi-Tec shoes this winter and they fit width and size very close to my sneaker size. They're really light and comfortable too.

If you're buying Adidas you may want to go a little wider than normal. If you're buying Footjoy you may want to go half a size less.

I suppose it also depends on how you like your shoes to fit. I can't stand loose fitting shoes and like mine snug so I almost always make sure they fit a bit tight right out of the box. They all loosen up a bit after you wear them a bit.

Thanks for the responses guys. I talked it over with my GF and decided I'd be better off to order a few FJ shirts. I ordered a short and long sleeve performance mock instead. I would have had to add like $80 for the shoes and the shirts only $15 shipping. I have a pair of Dryjoy Pro's I just put new spikes in and the 360Climacools have only been worn about 15 times, I like those for summer.

Not the most comfortable shoes I've ever had but most definitley the most waterproof. I've had them for 2 yrs now and can still walk right through the mud and puddles all round, my socks are all white and dry after the round. They may just need a new insole.
