another driver

well i sold my new hibore to a frenid who was in love with it. so today i went to look at galaxy golf. found a quad hit it for awhile and out hit all my other drivers. so i bought it for $85 came home and paint filled a few latters and took some pics. my bag is being over run by TM clubs. but im going to reshaft this quad with a NVS shaft. does anyone have a extra TM wrench they would sell me.

i like the paintfill!! and the decade grip!! and its alright that you sold the hibore... im glad it found a nice home!!

i do have a wrench, that tmag gave me... its not currently in use, but if i do get an r7425 back from TM in place of the r5 i sent in, i will need it... but if i dont get one back, i will have no use for it, and i will send it your way... assuming you dont get one first... and dont wait on me, it could be weeks before i find out whether im getting another r5, or a r7425...

just wondering whats gonna happen to the aldila green shaft when you pull it??

well i hate winn grips, and apparently that is what is on the ft-3... i am in love with that green GP decade... i can switch the grips easily, but the ft-3 shaft is also 46"...

but im not sure if i wanna change it.... im gonna have to hit the 46" shaft, i might end up loving it to death!!

so ill send you a pm if i end up hating the 46"... then you could send that 45" with a nice grip my way...

yeah, but who knows, i may end up loving the thing... ill pm you about this whole thing when i actually get a chance to test it out..

and you know what, it would probably be cheaper just to cut the grip off, and lop off 1 inch if i want it to be 45"... so i probably wont need the 45" NV anyways...

im also thinking about getting me an nvs, as i have grown apart from the nv... it is too low launching for me... pullmeister apparently has one... maybe he will sell it to me...

Couple of things, the shaft that played 45" in another club is going to play shorter than 45" in a Callaway, this is becuase of the design of the head and the lack of a hosel. The shaft will go much further into the club head than on drivers with hosels (Titleist excluded). If you want the FT3 to play at 45" just take it in to get cut down and regripped.

the vs is more of a lower trajectory shaft, if you want higher, go for the nvs.

oh yeah, doh!! i knew that, it is bore-thru...*smacks myself*

so extreme, is the shaft that is in there now at 46" outside of the bore-thru, or is it 46 total, including the shaft inside the bore-thru??

go for the nvs, and dont look back... it is a nice shaft, and a higher ball flight, which is what you are looking for... the vs proto is a super nice shaft, but a lower flight...
