    Should I do it?

I have a decision to trade my Cleveland launcher Ti460 for my friends Macgregor Mac Tech NVG 435. I hit it at the range today and it felt real good, and I hit it pretty much like I do my launcher. The condition is about the same as mine too. So the decision is should I trade it or not? It's all personal preference for me to decide, but I'd like to know either what you guys would do or what I should do.

    Go hit it again.

One time range sessions are a dime a dozen. If you're stroking the hell out of the thing after a second session, use whatever clubs goes the straightest. If it happens to be the MacTec, then so be it. It's not a ripoff if the Launcher isn't working. Look to what works, not what something costs.

Too many churches and not enough truth...

  6. but he could sell the ti for straight up cash, and buy the mactec for pennies on ebay, and make some money...

i agree you should go with whatever you hit better, but that is a bad deal, if you want a mactec, go the above way...

its like having a superquad, and deciding you like a r5 better and you hit the r5 better... would you trade it straight up?? no way...

Whoa some heavy thoughts. After reading that I think I'll keep my launcher, then maybe go look for something else newer on the market.

Beware of thinking that the same model club with the same shaft will play the same. I've run into it too many times. I demoed a club and loved it, then bought an "identical" club (but not the same club) and regretted it.

If you find a particular club you really like (after at least two range sessions, as Rock says) then buy that club and not one "just like it".
"Maybe he could sell it on Ebay, say it looks like the Virgin Mary, Sergei Fedorov, or Leno."
