Honma Beres Golf Clubs?

No but I did look at them. I was actually looking into a Honma 3W before I picked up the TP 5W. Then I just knew I had to find a 13* to match it. I just don't really care for the look of the irons that much.

A very nice brand, kind of like a Rolls Royce luxury in the golf world. Lots of pros from Asia use these clubs, similar to Miura and Endo stuff. A majority of the cost with these clubs is due to them being a very small foundry that only produces a small number of pieces per year.

very very expensive... i played a round with some guy, and all he talked about was honma clubs... it got rather annoying, because at the time i knew alot about the main OEM's, but nothing about honma...

i know quite a few people who uses honma exclusively. they are very expensive but nice. they are similar to miuras. lot of low handicap players who are aging (and asian most of the time) are going w/ honma b/c their clubs hit longger (but unconforming) to suite older people who can't generate enough club head speed.

they range in order of starts on the hosel. 1 star is cheap, 2 stars are what majorities have, and 5 stars for people who want rolls royce instead of mercedes. the guy i play often in MASS has a whole set of honma (SW-Driver) which set him back about several thousand dollars.


i'd get miuras over honma though.

My local range caters to a very large Japanese and Korean community, so the pro shop there is a Honma dealer and plenty of the bags I walk past when I'm down there have them in.

Did anyone spot the irons on their website where the 9 iron has 36* of loft???

they are. 24k gold in the cavity and gold ring around the tip of their hosel.

I just recently purchased a set of Honma Twin Marks Irons. Honma Beres driver, 3 and 5 wood. I got the 3 star stiff shaft. I am amazed at the difference they have made in my game. I was using Callaway X Tour irons and the Nike Sasquatch woods. I went from around 17 to single digit within a month. They may be a little expensive, but I think they're worth every penny.

I will tell you now, unless I win the lottery I would never buy golf clubs like these. This actually starts to borderline ridiculous, I mean gold and platinum clubs, are you kidding me. Just my .02 though.
