yup.. i have a 56* and its nice, but i got it with a stiff Black Gold, and i cant hit that shaft... so once i get a Wedge Flex in there, it will be good as gold...

plenty of spin too!! a players wedge, no doubt...

I've had the 58* and it had some serious bite. Actually just too much spin for the courses I was playing, it stuck everything dead in it's tracks. Nice wedges with a versatile grind.

The Black TP's are my back up set of wedges, have a slightly different grind on them and a shorter Dynamic Gold S400 black shafts versus the Tour Concepts. The black wedges will rust over time, especially in the two pockets on the back of the head.

I like the feel and the spin that you get from them, especially since I will seldom take a full wedge shot, yet can still get enough spin to stop the ball on a quarter or half swing. They frame the ball nicely at address as well with a nice shape.

Nice wedges, I had a 52 degree gap wedge and it just used to eat Pro V's for fun. The spin you get is awesome learning to control it/use it correctly is another thing altogether, great fun though.

hmm thanks for the help guys.Im not a big fan of rusty wedges.Maybe I will have to look at the TP satin..Then again I really want a gun metal or black finish.Perhaps some black pearl CG10's are in order. I can get the black tp's from my pro for cost if i wanted them. The only thing's I dont like are the 12º of bounce on the 56º and the rust factor. I'll be thinking. Thanks again,JS

they dont really rust, except for a teeny tiny bit in the feel pockets... nothing i would be worried about... as far as the 12* of bounce, that is pretty much standard all across the board for OEM's... i wouldnt be too worried about that either, you really need that much bounce in a greenside bunker...

I hate bounce.

If I had to kill one thing in the world it would be bounce on a sand wedge.

Im closer to buying these.

No one else has any other thoughts on how these things play?.

I wont get them if I cant get the right bounce. I'll take no more than 10º on the 56º.

Im hopeing I can get:

60- 6
56-8
52-8

I have never played a 60º wedge before so I don't know how they ya know..play.

Tmag how much rust are we talking about here?. Alot of noticable rust(besides feel pockets)?.

Damn nice wedges, and I dont like the looks of much else.

Some spots in the feel pockets, it depends on whether you dry them off after hitting shots in wet conditions. I've had my current set for about 6 months and will get some pictures up of them for you.

These don't have any rust yet, the silver on the bottom is a result of the grind that I put on them.

The one other thing with black wedges is that there will be some wear spots on the after time as well, the black finish will start to come off of the bottom, especially when you hit it out of a bunker.

I would second the Srixon WG 504's. Best wedges I have hit.

A little FYI on the RAC Black wedges: They are no longer being made so whatever is in the store is it. It will be used only really soon. This was from one of the TM reps at the show as someone on the board had asked me to ask if they were being discontinued. When I talked to him in January, he told me they had already stopped producing them.

Good luck in your search.
