Unhappy My hybrid search...woah is me...

I trying to find a hybrid. (Sigh).

I've decided to try and at least conform to logic and get it through my thick skull that a hybrid is theoretically easier to hit than a forged 4 iron.

However, I want to invest $0 initally into my project.

Anyone have any advice for a dork that wants a Tour style hybrid? Or, better yet, anyone have a Tour style hybrid that they can let me demo and probably subsequently buy?

Yep, I have screwed priorities.

Rock take a look at the Bridgestone J33 the face is square and has no offset and looks very nice at address. It’s the best hybrid I have hit and it’s going for around 100$ brand new. I went threw the Taylormade Rescue and the Nickent 3DX I just couldn’t trust them they had a tendency to hook. I wish I could send it to you I know you would like it. I let my friend who hates hybrids try it out on the range this weekend and he was very impressed. The other hybrid I was looking at is the Titleist 503-h but it’s a little more expensive.

If you can get a hold of a TM Rescue Mid TP that is a decent hybrid. The TP line is set up with no internal draw bias like the standard TM line of hybrids. I had a little more trouble with the Rescue Dual since the weight ports tend to make the club fall a little closed.

Lol. He forgot to mention he won't touch TM or Titleist with a 10ft. pole and doesn't like Sonartec either. There goes #1,2 and 3 right off the bat. The Bridgestone only goes to a 21*.

Then he needs to look at the Adams Idea Pro, I would play it in a second if not for the 14 club deal that I have with my TM Rep.

Callaway would be the only other decent option.

The reason I said the Idea Pro is because it is a smaller head (100 cc) and has the face of an iron which makes it a little easier to get accustomed to hitting in place of a longer iron.

The Adams is a good call; very small and compact. Rock, you'd have no problems bridging the iron to fairway gap with one of these. Then again, good luck finding one cheap...

The Adams Pro is a superb club, I demo'd a 1h of it. It was fitted with an Aldila VS proto as standard as well!!! Just couldn't part with £100 ($200) for a hybrid. I found the older Hogan CFT was a simlar option on a shoe string budget just throw a better shaft in there and they are awesome, titanium face as well.

Rock,

order an Alpha RX hybrid from Tim. Thrown in a rifle hybris shaft and you have one for under $50, and YOU WILL LIKE IT!

Rock, once you go Nickent 3DX DC Ironwood, you'll never go back! But get the one with the V2 shaft.

Would I steer you wrong?

What the Doc said!! You can get a 3DX DC cheap now since the 4DX's have come out. And if you hook a Nickent it's you not the club.

Anyone else get the impression that Rock is just trying to get us all worked into a frenzy? I think he just posted this and is now sitting back LHAO as we fall all over ourselves with hybrid suggestions...
