driver trade

a friend wants to trade drivers with me...a r7 quad with mas2 for his r7 425 with graf. blue in it...i really like my quad...but what do you guys think?

Did you take the 425 for a spin on the range, or, since you guys are friends, take it for a test drive on the course? That seems to me to be the best way to see whether you will like the 425, and even more importantly, the Blue.

yea i plan on hitting it this week end...but I just love my quad and hate to depart with it....that Blue seems to be one tough cookie to swing

Give the 425 a hit. IMO the MAS2 I had in my R7 was just slightly softer than the Blue, similar bend profiles. It would just be slightly lower but tighter for me. The 425 is basically just the Quad with a larger sweet spot. A little more forgiving, a little less workability.

i would do it... you are getting a way better deal price wise... but still hit it first.. you dont wanna trade away a club you were hitting well, for a club you wont...

the r7425 will be more forgiving, and less workable, as ez said... but that is the only difference, other than the shafts....
