Accra shafts

I have a buddy that plays the HF model in his 3W and hybrid and he just loves them but, other than him, I don't know anyone else that plays them. I don't hear much about these shafts on this site; anyone out there play them?

It just seems strange that there is no mention of them on this site. They get talked about quite a bit over on WRX...

They are UST's (the company that makes the V2) high end shafts. Have never hit one, but they have a following. There is a profile for lots of different swings.

Accra shafts are dynamite. Nothing at all like the junk UST pumps out under its own label. The ACCRA shafts are a premium shaft at a premium price. IMO they are worth it on their feel alone.

I had a T-60 in an R5TP but it was not a shaft for me, mid low/mid. It launched high and erratic as all shafts of that profile do for me. I considered trying a different one but UST does a terrible job on thier site of explaining what the shaft profile is. I don't know what is what, only that the T series is not for me, like a Zcom or a Tour Platform.

The site throws up a bunch of numbers but doesn't really talk about shaft characteristics. Most places I found on-line did have "call for price" and "install only" but I was too lazy to call. I knew the HF series was just over a hundy though based on what my buddy told me. I have two local shops that are authorized dealers so I might just visit them to see about picking up a HF for my J33.
