Chest putters

I KNOW my problem is not with the putter. This is a trial change in putting "technique" for which you need a long putter to try!! Geesh.

I was running hot/cold with my putter all year also. I threw a 75gram backweight in my already heavy-headed Wishon Smooth 6. Instant feel.

With that extra weight up in your hands, it really does make a difference with, what feels like, balance.

I played my first 9 holes with it this morning, going out on the backside. Holed a 40-foot downhill putt the absolute first time I used it in a round. (I have hit the practice green with it the last two days) I knew it was in, or at least close, as soon as I hit it. No 3-putts the entire 9. Better, no "come-backers" either. Just 18-inch second putts and tap-ins.

Honeymoon? For sure. But I've never had "feel" like this before. Try the HP, or at least get your current putter backweighted. You can DIY. Just buy the Tour Lock Pro weight from Golfsmith and cut a hole in the end of your putter. Or buy the Winn Tour Lock Pro grip with the hole already cut. It's a LOT less expensive than using Balance Certified.

Well yesterday in league I was CRUSHING the Rapture straight down the middle. I outdrove everyone in our foursome on every hole where you could use a driver. One hole I outdrove everyone by 70 yards, middle of the fairway. 70 yards!!! Trouble is the rest of my game sucked. You guys just don't want me to get that long putter because you know I'll be so good you'll have to listen to me brag all the time!!

The announcers last week were complaining that too many young pros were using the belly putters. Why would that be wrong if its legal equip.?

because its 20 years to early to get the yips! they are just jumping on the bandwagon instead of working through their ills

For WBL it'll be a chest putter. For Razor, who is 8' 6" tall and made of wolverine teeth, it'd be a belly putter...

Razor is only about 5' 11" but the rest is right.

I pulled out my old Odyssey DualForce 550 blade putter and it's WAY heavier then my 2-ball. I'll give that a try this week and see how it goes. If it works I'll be ho'in a Odyssey black series #1 or a Ping Redwood Anser. And if I still want a chest putter I can have a guy build one for under $100.
