S400 vs X100

Whats up,

So a while ago someone on here told me to check out the X100's. Now im debating.

I am getting very intrested in taking out these speedsteps and putting in some Dynamic Gold SL's. Now the question becomes whether to get S400 or X100. People have told me that the X100's don't play to a real X and are for higher S players. They say it helps your consistency more often than not. What do you guys think?

Im averaging about 105-110 with the driver and I could not tell you how much with an Iron because I really do not know.

screw dg....go with rifles...they feel soooooooooo much better...and u can get like s+...maybe a 5.5 or 6

If you're only hitting your driver 105-110, you might consider dropping down to S300's...

I got the S400 on my wedge and im not complaining

All the S400's are, are out of spec S300's. They arent like some special sort of run or anything. In the process of making S300 shafts there are always "mistakes" during production. Some shafts are lighter, some heavier, some where they should be. The ones in the accepted range are the S300's, the lighter ones become S200's, the heavier ones are the S400's. The difference in weight from the S300 to the S400 is no more tham 5 grams. Flex wise they are exactly the same.

X100's will generally frequency 10cpms higher than the same shaft in an S300 flex.

Rifles actually feel pretty harsh to me. I play NS1050's and they are a whole lot smoother. Personally I find S300's smoother than the rifles as well.

Same here. Rifles = pain.
