At F*cking last.

Way back at the start of the season I took WBL's Rapture challenge & I liked it a lot. I gave my pro a chance to beat the price of American golf which he did so I handed over the cash and took it away. Within a week the badge came of the back so my pro sent it back. Instead of replacing it with another Rapture I asked him to order me a FT5 Tour with ProLaunch. He said it would be a couple of weeks which I was ok with. 8 weeks later it still hadn't turned up so I asked if it would be quicker to order aTitty D1 with Aldila VS. He told me yes and ordered one. Well 4 weeks later that still hasn't turned up but the FT5 did and I took it out today for the 1st time.

Well f*ck me, I thought my old FT3 was the dogs but the FT5 is super easy to hit and long!!! 1st ever shot with it, our 1st hole 294 yards off the yellows up hill, drove the green with a nice high draw. The shaft makes all the difference though. I have hit the FT5 Tour with the Stock Fit on shaft and hated it. Well tomorrow I will be cancelling the order for the Titty D1 (probably ).

Congratulations, now remember never to order anything through your pro. How does the FT-5 sound? I'm just wondering because I'm trying to work out what your excuse will be for selling it.

Taa, mate.
I also asked because the FT3 sounded a little dead to me not that I would be silly enough to let the sound distract me from how far the ball was going.
Oh by the way the R580 performed admirably today 290yrds on one of my drives but at the moment I think the shaft is a little too much for me so the
R7 with a regular shaft should be perfect.

I know what you mean about the sound of the FT3 but it soon becomes the norm especially when your bombing them away. The FT5 sounds simlar but slightly louder if anything.

I knew I should have gone to my English classes. It should have read something like this in a nut shell.

FT3 Tour with Prolaunch - great driver but shaft broke which gave me an excuse to start driver hoing again.

FT5 Tour with stock Fit on shaft - hated it when I had one for a week or so.

FT5 Tour with ProLaunch - an improvement on my original FT3 Tour.

Titty D1 - cancelling order.

Will let you know later on in the week as I've only played one round with it so far. Still in one piece at the mo, so better than the Rapture so far.
