I played 27 holes with my boss, his son and Twofast today. My boss's son had MX-25's, brand new. My boss hit them on every hole and was hitting them very well. He just couldn't wait to get his own....

So after the round twofast and I went with him the Golfer's Whorehouse. He bought the MX-25's, a MP-R SW, a Mizuno Staff bag and just to add some Taylormade to the mix... A Burner 9.5*. Crazy.

I picked up a NR Mint 58-08 Oilcan Vokey for $49.99.

I'm experimenting with a 50-54-58* setup. Unfortunately that would mean dropping the tour prototype but I can't hit the thing off any sort of tight lie. For now I'll keep it though. 50-56-58 is an odd setup but it's really all about bounce.

Ez, the 50-54-58 setup is a winner imo. did you pull your PW for that setup? or was it strong enough that you still have a decent gap between it, and your 50*?

i was irked at first when I moved my setup because my 9i is 43* and the next club was my 50* since i pulled my Rev. PW, but luckily i seem to be able to hit the 50* as far as the Rev. if a problem arises i'm not gonna hesitate weakening the 9i to 44 and bringing the 50* to 49*, but so far the setup seems to be a winner, all the clubs are versatile enough to handle nearly any shot that i need to execute, like you said, bounce is everything.
