Nippon shafts

I've searched but am unable to find swing speed recommendations for these shafts. Anyone out there have an idea as to the ranges for the R & S flexes in the NSPro 950 & 1050?

Didn't like the BG's in the Nike's? or just want to try something new? Either way I cannot find it.

The BG's got pulled from the Nikes over the weekend as the Nikes are gettting traded this afternoon; they're just way too much club for me.

I demo'd a Miura with the Nippon a while back and it seemed like a great shaft. I'm just looking for general info on them as I don't see any swing speed guidance anywhere.

I'd have to say they play similar if not a tad softer than S-300's. About a Rifle 5.7 They are also much lighter so IMO swingspeed is increased a little as well. My Miura's in the identical lofts are about 1/2 club longer than the Rifle 6.0 shafted TM 300's.

I agree with Ezra. I had a set of NS950 stiffs and they were pretty much in between R300 and S300, so I'd say the Nippons play a bit soft to flex.

I play R300's in my irons and NS950 stiffs in my hybrids. The hybrids are a tiny bit stiffer feeling, but still very playable.

I swing driver about 94mph with a fairly smooth unload.

Hope that helps.

Thank you, this is exactly what I'm looking for!!

I was playing the Dynalite Gold S300 in my Mizunos and they were a pretty damn good fit for me (hindsight being 20/20 and all). They were in between the Dynamic Gold R300 & S300 and so it sounds like the Nippons are about in that same spot.
