Ok, Played 24 holes today so now i'm in a position to give my initial thoughts on the FT5.

Looks, My playing partner has a FT3 Tour so we compared the head shape. I'd say the FT5 has a wider slightly shallower face than the FT3 & also goes to more of a point at the rear, slightly triangle in shape. I'd comparte the FT5 to the Titty D1 & the FT3 to the Titty D2 but not quite as big a difference with the Cally's.

Performance wise I love this club. I must stress 'THIS' club as I did buy a FT5 Tour with the Fujikura E-360 shaft and I couldn't hit that thing worth a dam & so I sold it within a couple of weeks. Anyhow with the ProLaunch this driver is probably 10 yards longer than my FT3 with ProLaunch was and is more forgiving although you can still play to shape the ball a little. Is it worth trading your FT3 in and splahing out £250 on the FT5? Probably not to be honest but as soon as the price comes down a little I'm sure if you make the switch you won't be disappointed.

Forgot to mention the sound of the FT5 is the same as the FT3 but with more of a 'ting' after the initial thud.

I ordered this club as a custom order via my club's PGA Pro and it doesn't have a serial number on it? The one I got with stock shaft did have the serial number. I'm in no doubt that it's real but is this how people get hold of clubs with no serial number then claim it's 'straight from the Tour van'?

FT-5 is a pretty thing! Hope it works nicely for you. You don't want to have to go back and buy another Rapture!! (I have one for sale if you do, he he)..
