I waited 10 weeks, but this ho is almost complete - Shot Talk

Since this is a driver ho forum, I suppose people will call me crazy for ordering a putter I have never tried, but to each his own I suppose. I've been eyeing these for the past year or so, and the Mrs, finally told me to get it for fathers day. I had it stamped with my son's name and DOB.

I went custom because I wanted a certain weight, style, finish and sound slot. I just couldn't find anything OEM that had a combination of all of the features I wanted, so I called up Tom Slighter and came up with this Prototype. It's a modified version of the Bellevue style, with a flatter lie, reduced milling on the face, a more hard lined mechanical cavity/flange and slightly shorter heel to toe length.

Here are the specs:

Model: Bellevue
Weight: 350g
Length: 34"
Lie: 2* Flat
Finish: Seattle Mud

Vt, did you get fitted before ordering, or did you find a putter you liked and order the exact same specs?

i think they do some really great stuff, but don't think I could commit the cash until I knew exactly what I wanted

That is a GREAT looking putter! I especially like the finish.

Do you plan on putting this in the bag or is this simply an ornament? The only reason I even ask is because of your son's initials/DOB. I think that is a great idea and I can't wait to try talking my wife into a new putter for each of my kids; and to think we're trying for #3...

Absolutely beautiful. The Slighter Seattle Mud is my favorite putter finish. Good choice.
