Help HO my sister some clubs.

My sister’s birthday is coming up in a month or so and we are going to get her some clubs. I took her out to the range the other day and she is hooked. She is about 5’10 and strong and athletic she played a lot of softball in high school. She was hitting my 3 wood and hybrid pretty good and at the end of the bucket I got her hitting my 8 iron pretty good. The problem she was having was topping the ball so I don’t want to get her women’s clubs because they are usually an inch short so I was thinking of getting her senior clubs a little weaker than regular flex but standard length. I just got off the phone with her and she said she would rather get some better used clubs than some knock off set that she wouldn’t like in a year or two. I think she should get a set of irons that comes with a 3 and 4 hybrid and maybe get her a decent driver and maybe a 5 wood. I have a old bag, putter and Voleky I can give her. Anyone have any good suggestions I think I’m going to start looking for some Adams Idea irons first, but I guess I’m not a great game improvement club mind.

the whole time i was reading this thread i was thinking Adams clubs.

hard to go wrong with Adams. i personally can't recommend a GI model because i Haven't tried any but nearly anything they make would be a good choice.

good luck with the search.

Take a look at the Slingshots there very nice and super game improvement. You can pick up a used set for nearly nothing if you know where to look.

My sister has the Adams A2 OS set and they are very nice, and she hits them well. She is about 5ft 7, played softball, and overall is a decent athlete... the one knock I have on the set is the 3 wood is low profile and hard to hit and the price was around 760 bucks
My wife has the Nike Slingshots, and they are also a good club. The set comes with a 4 iron, which probably would never get used. I threw in an Tommy Armour Allegretto 4 wood and Wilson Hope driver.. and a Tommy Armour Putter, ogio vapor lite bag... total was about 330 bucks.

Tommy Armour has a womens set also... Allegretto I believe... check em out.

Those Hawkeyes are pretty nice, just make sure the shaft is soft.
