Wow! I'm flattered!
I'm the guy who posted the information you talked about and Lyle cut and pasted my results.
Before I agreed to carry these, I did the testing of these...dimensionally, functionally and and cosmetically...and found these to be superior than most anything I've tried and carried.
The fact that it turned out the same results of the Ozik was a fluke.
I did the shaft profile of this (taking cpm measurements at beem lengths 5" incrementally apart)..and thought: "Wow! That sucker is smooth....with REAL consistent density".
It wasn't till a day or so later that I fed the info into my database, and then hit the "sort" button to see where it landed in comparison to others (I expected to find it very close to the Accra T series)...
I WAS very close to the Accra...but was literally identical to the Ozik! I was floored!
I called the mfg immediately (like around 11:30pm his time) and said "I want the exclusive on this".
When I'm asked about what OTHER shafts this compares to?
I tell people in regards to "feel" (since most have never hit an Ozik) I equate it to the feel sensation of the YS-6...the NVS...Pro Launch Blue...Fuji 27.3....imagine that gentle feel, but loading ferociously at impact.
The Soultion series is (what I hope) will be the instigator to let the masses know that component prices on some products have gotten out of control and it's time to buy sensibly.
The Solution is an $88 alternative to the $399 Ozik Code series...
Guess what?
The $80 Tour Swing Tour is identical to the $300 Creation from Accuflex...
The $59 Tour Swing Vengeance SL is identical to the $90 Evo lite from Accuflex....
PLus, there's a component company that specialized in heads, that just came out with their own line of shafts selling in the $80 range that are nothing more than cheap fiber wound shafts that sell for around $10 retail.
Bottom line is the normal end user pays extra for hype, marketing, status and cosmetics.
I would prefer seeing golfers pay realistic prices, save their money to buy lessons.
