Pinnacle Exception golf balls

Found a Pinnacle Exception golf ball and saved it as a water ball. Anyway, came to a hole with a lake to hit over, so I broke out the Pinnacle Exception golf ball. Lo and behold, and to my surprise, the Pinnacle Exception golf ball wasn't so bad. So I stayed with it through the remainder of the round. It seems OK, really. Has anyone else here in this Forum tried a Pinnacle Exception golf ball and found it to be not so bad?

The driving range that I played at all last weekend had these as the range balls.

They seemed very hard to me, very little feel in the irons. I didn't get a chance to putt with it, but it's pretty similar to the HX Hot in terms of distance and feel, in my opinion.

For the price, a damn good ball.

Very long...putt well....not the most aggressive ball in approach shots...but got $15.99 a doz, still, a good deal!

I played one a few years ago that I had found. Softer and more playable than the regular Pinnacle line, but kind of expensive for a 2-piece ball. I would have played it if it had been a bit cheaper. IMHO, you would be better off with the Top Flight D2 Feel. Same price but you get an extra sleeve of balls and a softer feel.

I liked them off the driver but short game not so much. I actually drove a par 4 green with one. I'd play one at a course with softer greens where I'm going to try to bomb driver all day.

On an easier course that you'd like the distance, a ball like this rocks.

I'm just not a big fan of pinnacles unless I'm trying to kill it.
