A big Public Thank You to Rob aka ChemBoy for his efforts in helping me score my Scotty Red X Mid. I posted about 2 months ago that I had won one on an Ebay auction and that I couldn't wait for it to arrive. Rob, mentioned they had a few in the local shop and commented how sweet they looked. Anyhow after weeks of waiting for the Red X to arrive it became apparent that the seller wasn't gonna send the club and I had to claim my money back via Paypal. I PM'd Rob out of the blue asking him if the shop still had the putters and if they would ship to the UK. The shop had one left but wouldn't ship it over. Rob very kindly said he would be willing to collect the club and have it Shipped to the UK for me. I paid on Friday and it arrived yesterday, I shot a 36 on the back 9 with it 1st time out yesterday .

I love this website and how fellow ST'rs are willing to bend over backwards to help each other out .

The final piece I've just snagged at a resonable price to complete my bag.

This bag is for keeps now. There's not one club in here that I'd rather swap for anything else (at the mo). I'm playing my best golf ever and I'm currently at my lowest handicap of 7. I shot 76 in my last comp which was level par 36 out and 5 over 40 in which included a triple bogey, bogey finish. The wind was howling and the course playing long so I was chuffed with the score but not the finish . I practiced the back 9 yesterday & shot a 1 over 36 to avenge that finish. All I have to do now is put the 2 together and I'll be a cat 1 player before the end of the season

All in all this Ho is currently very happy with his bag and his game

The title of your thread really made me jealous....

First, congrats on getting everything in place. There's nothing like the peace of mind that all the yardage gaps are filled and the specialty clubs (wedges, putter) are all tuned in for your short game.

Also, as founder and mod, I am particularly pleased that your fellow ST'ers have helped you out...

Now that I have the new irons, (which I really like) it has thrown my bag into a fullblow tizzy. I've got 15 clubs now, so the 'domino affect' is spilling into my hybrids/fairway woods. Looks like I am going to replace two clubs with one to get down to regulation 14.

Looks like I've got my heart set on a Cobra Baffler...if I acquire this, my bag will resemble yours in that it will have an absolute jumble of equipment from different manufacturers....oftentime, just a single club from one manufacturer for a specific purpose.

Now if I could just get this next business deal done...........

MG, nice to see the RedX2 Mid come through like that!

While it looked sweet, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to use a damn belly putter! It's also a good thing that the shop boxed it up or it might have been delayed due to me taking it out for a test run or two...
