I have a silver inbound, but if it's too light, the 80 might be an option.

You're not gonna put it into a 3 wood, are you?

If you want the Creation at a good price...buy the TourSwing Vengeance Tour shaft for 80 bucks....

The exact same shaft, designed by the same person....Tim Chopp.

Put it this way. If I bought another driver you'd never hear about it in this forum. I'd leave my signature alone and play the new driver and you guys wouldn't have a clue...

One little problem. Starts with "S", ends with "SMOKIN".....

Do you not have that little nagging doubt anywhere in your head though?

I mean, today I hit my Nike SQ for my longest drive ever - measured out to 272 yards, straight down the fairway - and it's on average 40 to 50 yards longer than the R5 I started the year with. I can hit this driver better than I ever dreamed I'd hit one. But *still* there's a little voice in the back of my head saying 'I wonder what it would be like with a premium shaft in it?' or 'Would it be better with a stiffer shaft in it?'. I even occasionally get a quick 'I wonder if the new Sumo would be even better?' from time to time.

I guess I've resisted so far though - to quote an earlier Harry Potter book 'Sometimes we have to choose between what's easy, and what's right'...

(S, what I'm about to say in no way reflects apon you or your game whatsoever, it's purely an observation on my part. It also is in no way a method of tooting my own horn, not in the least. I just wanted to say this up front.)

You know, I was reading this and thinking to myself while doing it. I play with 3 other guys that I consider decent golfers. They shoot mid to high 80's. I also consider myself a short hitter by comparison.

Last Wednesday, I hit two par 5's from 280 out with my 3 wood. Now, I personally think that's a good knock. I was 290 on the drive (heeled it both times), but still made the green on both occasions.

My counterparts, one played driver 5 iron on the same hole. The guy hits his PW about 165. I just can't compete.

Then, I see a post like this. Again, I mean no offense, but it really makes me think. And there are ALOT of guys that can bomb it around here.

Anyways, totally off topic, but just thought I'd chime in.

R35

PS...Sandy, keep up the good work. If you're bombing it 272 and down the pipe, you're doing something right.
