Thread: is there a 1 iron, forged cavity back?

  1. is there a 1 iron, forged cavity back?

is there a 1 iron, forged cavity back?

i like my 2 iron, a forged cavity back, so now I'm curious...

please, spare us with that famous Lee Travino quote, if you can, or any of that negative can't or shouldn't do talk

i'm not a pro, so i can swing what ever I want during a round i paid $90 to walk

Try Cobras, Titties, or possibly a Mizzy.

You realize that if you can hit a 1 iron, you can probably hit a blade, yes?

yes true, but a forged CB would still be straighter than a forged, no?

a cavity back design will be more forgiving than a blade - but I agree with Jeff - if you can hit a 1 iron, you can probably hit a blade

if you're looking for forgiveness - I think most would look towards hybrids in those lofts

    good luck

Could you get a another 2-iron like the one you have and have it bent to 1-iron loft? Maybe re-shaft it, or add an extension? I know you would change the bounce angle, but how critical would that be in a 1-iron?

Taylor Made 300 series 1-iron. I have one with a stiff 85g Penley Stealth shaft and the thing is sheer quality !

You might suprised to learm that a lot of your higher end clubs are produced in either China or Japan.

We have a salesman that comes through my work once a week or so, he is also a Callaway rep & told us their clubs are all made overseas. I believe him but who knows he could have been pulling our legs.
