STAND BAGS: Nike Pro Combo Day vs. Ogio Sticks

I like the Nike bag. And all I've got right now is a 3-PW irons set (and soon enough, a putter), so I figure this would work for me at least right now...

But how much room for growth do I have? Should I be ok in terms of space available when I add a fairway wood? How about a sand wedge?.......

How many clubs can I expect to fit in this thing before it becomes 'obsolete' ?

And I have, more or less, the same affinity for and concerns about the Ogio Sticks, as it seems to be a similar size/weight?

Thanks,
- Joaquin.

Not sure about the Ogio Sticks but I am the Ogio Ozone and although it's light as can be, I am not pleased with the durability.

The bottom of the bag is very flimsy now to the point that you can't even stand the bag up without the legs anymore, it just leans to one side and falls. Granted, it's a stand bag, it should still be able to stand upright without the legs.

The biggest problem I've had though was the stitching. Seems like everytime I pull a club from the bag, there is thread clinging to the butt end of the club. Not sure how much more the bag can take before it just falls apart.

IMO you should look at some of the sun mountain bags there nice. the one i have is light and it will hold all 14 clubs easy.

Hmm...
That's not good...

How's the Atlas holding up? And is it possible that you just got a bad "Ozone" -- or is Ogio just not that hot?

The Atlas is great. the bag is built like a tank.
Could have just gotten a bad bag, not sure.

Another thing about the Ozone bag is the club divider system, I can't stand it, always gave me problems getting clubs in and out.

As mentioned, look to Sun Mountain bags. I believe they have stand bags that have individual slots for each club, if that's what you are looking for.

I got an Ogio Vector stand bag, and I REALLY like it. It's got enough full-length dividers to make club arrangement smooth and easy. You can only carry 14 clubs total, no matter how many you own, bro. What you should look for in a bag is carry-comfort, number of pockets, and the size of the top. I wouldn't go smaller than an 8.5 diameter opening, and make sure the dividers, or at least MOST of them, are full length.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the "14 clubs total" concept...
My question is more geared towards whether either of those smaller bags will ALLOW me to get to 14.

But, in any case, I'll just keep lookin' around. In all probability, I'll just end up pickin' up a Taylite from RockBottomGolf or something like that...

Cheap but effective.
