Thread: New golf shoes

  1. New golf shoes

Hey guys I just bought a new pair of golf shoes from a guy over at golfwrx, they are Oakley Overdrive vented. Have any of you guys had any experience with Oakley golf shoes because I have been wanting a pair because they look nice but have never used them.

I bought the 10's but he has a couple more sizes.

Are those the same shoes that the country-boy cousin gave to Clark W. Griswold in Vacation?
Scotty Cameron Studio Design #2 with a Red Baby T grip overwrapped with 7 layers of tape, the correct Screaming Yellow Headcover and SD Pivot Tool, rubbed with the oil cloth after each round, slept with when the wife has a headache, and touched with the finest Egyptian White Cotton gloves ONLY, WITH the gloves on the correct hand to offer the putter maximum comfort, unless at the course, in which case it gets to touch the ground and the ball before being whisked carefully back inside the cover.

I bought a pair of Oakley Zip Tye in the black and white over two years ago:

Still have them to this day. In the top 3 brands of shoe for comfort (Footjoy first, tied with Adidas for 2nd IMO) and give great grip. Only now starting to look like they need replacing. But i'm pretty fussy with my shoes, they could probably last another year no problems.

All round they easily get my vote

  6. Those are sharp!

I've like the edgy looks of Oakley golf shoes for a while now but for some reason I just can't seem to pull the trigger.
