Accuflex Creation 65

OK, so here's the deal i'm checking out thanks to Lyle, Rock and SV's reviews.

eBay

Accuflex Creation 65 Stiff shaft.

Shaft length is 43 5/8" and unsure what size tip it is but came out of an R7 so I assume .350.

Questions are:
1. Can I get this into my Titleist 905S .335 (bore-thru)?
2. If so, what length and stiffness would it play?
3. Am I being totally stupid considering there's not much wrong with my stiff V2?

These questions have probably been answered in other threads so my apologies for the double-up.
If it turns out that I can't do this and someone else is wanting the shaft, feel free to bid as this is a good price I believe.
Cheers
Lefty

Lefty
It will play way very short and stout. This shaft is not designed for a bore through head.

The V2 is a tomato plant holding up post compared to the creation.

OK well I think that solves it.

Thank you Lyle and Rock for your expert advice yet again.

Feel free to ignore this question if its too much work, but if I were to upgrade to a more premier shaft than the V2 in the 905S what would the best options be?

If I try to step on a drive with the V2 75g Stiff i'm hooking the snot out of it. I know this is reverse to what should be happening but i've always been this way. Confused the hell out of my brother when he was trying to fit me (he used to work in a golf store). I have no idea how this works, maybe because i'm actually right-hand dominant playing lefty????

P.S Anyone interested, knock yourself out on this shaft seeing as I have no use for it anymore. The link is in the first post.

This is by no means the reverse of what should happen. In fact it is a text book example of what should and will happen when a shaft is too soft for a player. When you try and step on one you are simply overpowering the shaft. You are causing the shaft to bend to far forward, too fast at impact. In turn this closes the face and you hook it. Yes, your right hand is a also working against you (I know being a hard throwing righty who golfs lefty).

Try something in an X flex and see if that helps. In some cases, stiffer can help a lot. You seem to fit one of those cases.

I chimed in when you were looking for a 905S. Try the 905R.

But what do I know? I only work at one of the top golf schools in the world...where my "boss" absolutely refused to allow me to bag any driver branded "Geek"

Dude, just try the 905R if you're a Titleist guy.

BTW, I enjoy your posts and technical knowledge, LyleG.

In my humble op...

The S is the lower launching head and I don't have any problem with trajectory with this thing. Demo'ed the R and I reckon if i tried hard enough with that thing I could've taken the brim off my cap. Not good hitting a ball 80-100 yards in the air on a links course. Wave bye bye ball... God knows what would've happened with a 905T.

But same thing happened with the 905R too. Big hooks if I tried to step on it.

The thing I can't understand is that i'm no brute. 6 foot and 190 pounds tops. Max swing speed of a 110 mph. Don't believe I load the shaft hard at all. Rarely hit a ball longer than 280 and average around 260 on a good day. Surely I shouldn't be in line for an X-stiff V2 in a bore-thru head...

I'm all confused (which in all honesty isn't that hard to do.)

A 110mph swing speed and a tendancy to hook definately puts you into an X flex. No doubt about it.
Do not think for a minute that the V2 is that stout of a shaft. People often call it a beast when in fact it is quite average in stiffness at best. It feels like crap so people assume its stiff as hell when it isnt.
