NEWPORT BEACH SPECS?

Does anyone know the specs of the cameron newport beach (35)? i checked the SC website and there was nothing.

i borrowed a friend's beach while waiting for my studio style NP2. i have made every put I've looked at inside of 10 feet for 3 rounds. now i fear i've made a mistake by getting the SS NP2 with the GSS insert as it does not feel as good (albeit on my indoor mat practice green)

The Studio Sainless Newport Beach is a 35"/330 gram head putter. Typically in the Newport line, Scotty onlys offer the 34" and 33" in the Newport 2 style, although you may be able to find a custom made/tour model or Japanese Market Newport Beach in shorter lengths/heavier heads if your willing to part with the extra cash and can find one for sale.

Additionally, while the Newport Beach was issued as a 35/330, you may find some that have been cut down to shorter lengths. Most cut downs have not been re-weighted so the specs will be off compared what Scotty releases his shorter putters at.

Most of the Newport Beaches were 35" 330 gram with the exception of the Japanese model which was 34" 340 gram head. The Studio Style came in 35/330, 34/340, and 33/350 combos. Lately Scotty has been offering the 35/330 as standard in most heads except the Studio Style line, Red X, Futura and Detour/Newport Detour lines which all have 33,34, and 35 inch models. The Circa 62 series are all 35/330 except for those produced for Japan which are 34/340.

i think the those combos 330g/35" 340g/34" etc have very nice balance to them. they felt very similar in balance and that's what SC was going for.
