I use either stinger tees or zero frictions. The stingers just look kool, and the zero frictions are just so durable.

I also have a small normal plastic tee which ive been using for like 2 years and counting

i use the zero friction tees also
a pack lasts me about a year, better than going to golfsmith and buying a bag of 1000
they do feel much different that hitting from a wooden tee
im not sure the friction could make more than a few inches of distance difference
its nice to use 1 tee all round without breaking all those damn wood ones
plus, 6 bucks for 50 and they last all year, works for me

I found one that was two parts connected by a "plasticcy,rubbery" section. I used it for a couple rounds, then for about two lessons (drivers) before it failed.
They are called "a-Balance Tee's"
