New Arrivals!!

Earlier this week I ho'd a few items and they've all turned up today

Firstly my new 3 wood has arrived a Titleist 906F2 15 degrees with a stiff V2 90g shaft. It's in mint condition got to be a good 9/10 easy. It's fitted with the Titleist corded grip which is a bonus as my drivers grip gets pretty slippery in the rain so this will be used in all wet weather. It cost me £90 which was a great price for this club in mint condition.

Secondly my new wedges arrived. I ho'd a pair of Cleveland CG12's in the Black pearl finish. These for me are the best looking Cleveland wedges for a good few years. They're a 46 degree pitching wedge and a 50 degree gap wedge both with standard bounce and the new Zip grooves. Cost £125 for the pair brand new still in the wrappers. As a result I now have a less than one week old pair of Mizuno MP T series Black Ni wedges 47 & 51 degree's spare and a 1 month old vokey 52 degree gap wedge spare. PM me if intreasted.

THAT'S IT NOW MY BAG IS COMPLETE (once I tie up the deal for the 585H I've been demoing for a couple of weeks now). I will update my sig and borrow a decent camera and post some new WITB pics soon.

I'm not sure why any of us say this - you have to qualify it "my bag is complete for the __________" (insert "rest of the season", "next few weeks", "next few days", "day")

you mentioned the 585 hybrid - just curious what loft? and what kind of yardage difference are you seeing between it and your 22* fairway wood?

I think MG is probably now the official biggest Ho on here....I would imagine his turnover per annum on ho'ing golf equipment rivals that of a small country

MG, if I had to guess one club in your bag right now, I wouldn't have a friggin' clue. You change shit so often, it's a wonder that you can even play the game.

I'd say nice pickups, but by the time you read this, you've probably bought something new anyways, so what's the point....

Qualified it with an until Christmas!!! It's a 21 degree 585H with the stock titleist shaft. It's the best 'long' club i've ever had for laying off it a bit and still hitting the target. Full out i've had 240 out of it but use it down to anything around 190. The 7 wood is great for when height is a must eg, hitting over trees or when a soft landing is required. Maxed out the 7 wood does about 225 (although I've not hit it down wind yet). It's great from rough when the ball is sat down.

Scares me to think about how much I've spent on golf over the last 5 years or so. Could have bought a small country.

Must be top 5. I've spent ££££'s on golf gear this year, made ££££'s as well selling stuff on, so probably only about £750 down.

I've hit it a handfull of times tonight. It looks great at address and the weight is superb but I was fighting the hooks with it. The few that i got right went a long way, about 260ish. I've not used a 3 wood much so this is gonna take a bit of getting used to.
