Ribbed Grips???

Does anybody use them? I have always used just the standard round, but yesterday I picked up a set that my Brother in law has and they have the Ribbed grips on them. They fell really good, and the little reminder of where your fingers should go is nice.

To those that use them, do you use them on your woods to or just your irons. And if anybody knows, is there any real trick to installing them, other than lining up the rib correctly? Thanks all!!!

I have always liked the Golf Pride Tour Wraps because of the ribs. I tend to get strong with my grip and these help me stay in check.

I have them on every club and switch stock grips to these. I think it was Lee Janzen this year, that had his grips ruled illegal because the rib was too big.

I use Tour Velvet ribbed* grips on all my irons and wedges. I like the feel of them as well and have been playing ribbed grips for several years now. I use round grips on my woods and hybrids though.

When you install them just make sure you get the little alignment marks on the grips straight. My club vise has an alignment attachment for gripping that you line up with the leading edge of the club. If you get the club face square then it's pretty easy to sight down the shaft of the club to make sure the grip is perfectly straight.

No option for mounting them "logo down" though...
