Wow!! Awesome paint job!

Not what I would choose, but you're quite talented. Tell us how you did it?

I can appreciate the artistry here. Kudos on that.

However, I am so anti-custom painted drivers, it's not even funny. I wouldn't play either if you paid me.

No offense, of course.

The paint job is very well done but I have to admit those things are ugly. Like Rock I am not into custom painted clubs. Are you actually going to be using those?

It would be interesting to hear some of those playing Sumo2's or FTi's or other "interesting" new drivers to chime in. If a club works, can you actually get over the look or the sound? Isn't this game all about confidence and what puts the ball in the fairway?

As other posters have indicated, the artistry is unique. Wouldn't have any way to explain those works without pics. The guys in my group make fun of my pink putter grip. I can just imagine if I had you do my X460 Tour the remarks that would be generated as I still drove it past them.

I'm an old man. I always felt I would lean toward the more conservative in golf equipment. Didn't think I'd ever be pleased with a 460cc driver. Yet, that's what has been in the bag for the past season and a half. Would I choose to change an OEM driver to such a radical coloring as you have shown us? Certainly not! Would I purchase a new driver with such a coloring if it would lower my score significantly? The 'ho in me says probably so!

I, too, am interested to hear just how you have accomplished what you have posted. It is amazing!!!! Did you actually freehand those? If so, you really have way too much time on your hands!

i dont know what a chevy impalas looks like, i'm guessing a piece of crap? i will find out. LOL

guy and girls i appreciate the comments all of them, even the neg ones, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. cheers again.

i've shown it to a couple of professional and they both want me to do theirs!

please remember you line shots up with the face of the club, if your not, then try it, they may go a bit straighter. LOL

these clubs are as easy to hit now as they were when they were black, they wont make you a better golfer, unless they inspire you to practise more. anyone who has multicoloured grips and other custom stuff i think will like them, we'll see anyway.

and god no i didnt hand paint them! cheers again keep em coming, even the neg ones (but please go easy) the more the merrier.
dick cheney?

If I was going to attempt a similar project I think I'd paint them up in that 'faux wood-grain' you often see in old houses, and then see how many people I could convince that I was using a 460cc persimmon headed driver...

Hey, I think you did a great job. I love individualism in golf, so enjoy your clubs. Personally, not my style, but I think its awesome. Welcome to Shottalk.
