Newbie to Golf... which irons?

Hi,

Im a newbie from MD i just started to swing a club just two weeks ago and my Dad was so happy that i am slowly developing an interest in the sport that he said he's going to buy me a set ....please help me choose between 2004 Big bertha's or some x18's (not PRO) they both have graphite shafts....which is more forgiving for me? thank you... : )

The big berthas are probably the most forgiving irons ever made but you really need to go demo as many as you can before buying. There's no reason to limit yourself to just those two.

That's great for you and your dad, have fun.

If $ is no option, and you are looking for forgiving:

Include Ping G2, TM RAC, Nike SlingShot. Make sure to demo, demo, demo.

I would go with the x-18's. They are just as forgiving, look better and have a better resale value.
