Nickent

Has anyone played or hit the new Nickent 4DX driver. I was looking at them and reading about them and found myself a little intrigued. At only 299.00 they are pretty affordable. I don't know much about the Fuji SR3 shaft and don't know much about the reputation of Nickent. I've seen tons of their hybrids on tour and plenty of people using them. Any info or background about them would be appreciated.

I can tell you that Youngun5 on this board had/has one. It couldn't displace his old driver, but he really liked it. Killed it distance wise but it just couldn't QUITE beat his old favorite. He's looking to sell it, I believe. He should stop by here shortly and fill you in.

The 4dx that Younggun has as originally bought by me. It is long. Long, long, long. I'd love to hit it side by side with the FT-3 Tour, thinking they have to be close in distance. Great head, very forgiving heel-to-toe, not as much up and down. My miss on the driver is usually low on the face, and this one didn't care for it. The weight is also really low, so if you like that, its something to consider.

I think if your miss is on the heel or toe, and you like a lighter head and long distance, go for it.

+'s:

driver is longer than long, beautiful looking, great sound, and feel.

-'s: lighter than anything i've ever tried which made it hard to control, personally. is not my Tour Issue HiBore.

this was one hell of a driver, unluckily for it, I already had my HiBore which has been unbelievable for me.

I still have it, but am waiting for Rockford35 to make a decision as he currently had dibs on it...I can put you second on the list if you'd like, just lemme know (goes for everyone)
