Since I don't like my 3-wood anymore I'm going to get a different one. I've got a buyer for the current one (I've had for three years). I've got a new stiff flex BB Solutions 130 chrome ion shaft already (best shaft ever made) for the new one and am going to order the Maltby KE4 15º head soon.

MALTBY KE4 FAIRWAY WOOD HEADS

Brothers Golf Solution Shafts

Winter project #2? I'm going to build the most illegal, cheating, outdrive sssmokin into the ground driver ever created by man. I'll start with the totally non-comforming Maltby Mr. Big 2 driver head and the UST V2 LD shaft at 47".

MALTBY MR. BIG 2 DRIVER HEAD

NoClones, No Copies, No Crap!

Project #3. Reshaft my Nickents with NVS stiff Hybrid shafts (have one already) and already have the grips.

Winter project (maybe) #4 is a set of Maltby or Golfsmith forged cavity back irons (thin top line, little offset) with Project X 5.0 Rifles. That's on a back burner right now unless significant funds come along.

I have a few putter thoughts floating around in my head. More specifically a NC Speedcontrol #1.

Do balls count? Picked up two sleeves of UR-X's that were laying around in the shop for cost. Really like the ball but it gets some pretty nasty cuts once the round is over.

We'll see what happens putter wise.

I'm ho'd up and ready to go for next season!!!

Apart from the Napa's trip to the Studio, New MP-R wedge(s), Fli-Hi 4 iron, MP001 nvs & a new Electric trolley. Maybe some Project X's for the 32's, a new 20 degree rescue or 4 wood & if I get a good Christmas bonus a MP-600!!!

Let's see... I need to replace the shaft in my driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. I might put my speeder in the driver, and dynamic gold in the hybrid, and possibly 3 wood. I need a new 56* and a new 60* but the 52* is okay for another season I think. That's about it. Maybe new irons.

Hmm, I'm not going to be able to add much to this thread, not because I won't be ho'ing though but becuase we really don't have an off-season here!

In all seriousness though, I've worked really hard overhauling my bag over the summer so my focus will be getting my swing in order before next spring. I was, however, approached by a co-worker today who is looking to overhaul his bag so I will be able to still feed the ho'ing beast!!

I consider myself lucky because we are connected to a few manufacturers who send us prototypes of various heads, shafts and equipment to test and give feedback on prior to release.

From Heads to golf bags (Ogio)...so winter time is fun for us.

I'm expecting two new drivers within a month...one completely revolutionary...a new line of shafts by year end.

New fairway woods...and a new line of putters, upper end putters.

More of these LD shafts were in use at this past weeks Long Drive Championship than any other shaft.

OK. Add to list... a TM 200 Steel tour 17*. Supposivley used in the Verizon Heritage Classic but for my 1 and only bid of $35 I could care less. I have a feeling that 16* MidTP will be getting the bump rather quickly. Now to find a shaft. I may just see what Twofast wants for the Proforce Gold 75X out of his 14* Sonartec. That would make a decent combo for a budget price.
