Need input on having my G5 reshafted

I've got a stock G5 and a new Comp NT shaft to go in it. I've been emailing with Chip Usher and his rate to swap shafts/spine/flo/grip is very good. Shipping is reasonable since he's in GA and I'm in NC. Also, I've read good things about his work.

Any reason not to do this?

The other option I considered was on the West Coast, but the guy is a "fitter to the pros" so to speak and his cost is easily double Usher's.
