Experiment

Before I got my hibore XL, I had a 9.5* J33R with a limey which was replaced with a 8.5* J33R. It is the lowest spinning driver I have hit. Now my hibore is great so this is just for fun, but what is the highest launching shaft available? I am looking for super high launch and counting on the J33R to keep the spin down somewhat. Thanks for any replies/comments.

ProLaunch Blue is pretty high launch. Mitsubishi Diamana Red I "think" is also higher launch. Matrix Ozik X-Con also. After that, not sure.

The lightweight NV's are high launch too. That, and they suck.

This is just me getting in one more shot on the NV for 2007.

i realized that NV sounds like Noo Vee.

"dude, i just started playing golf and got this octagonal driver w/ NV shaft and everytime i swing, i'm suppose to say POW!!!"

does this sound about right on Rock's interpretation of NV?

i liked NV shafts, but there are better shaft for me, so i won't say anything bad about it

LOL I've read about the NV on the Aldila's website and it says it for a tour pro so that might have something to do with so many people not liking it.

People don't like NV's because they are for tour pros (they're not ), but because they are just, well, crap...

NVS, VS Proto, on the other hand, are good shafts IMO.

Also, I won't consider a PL Blue for my Bridgestone. What kind of shaft ho would I be if I had the same shaft in driver and 3 wood??? Maybe I will look for a deal on a redboard or I will steal an ozik from somewhere lol

How about a Grafalloy BiMatrix proto? high launch low spin shaft in a low spin head? Or if your feeling flush theres always the Grafalloy Epic.

I can't wait til the end of the week I might get a Nike with a NV stiff on it and I plan on taking that off and getting a Grafalloy shaft of some sort in the regular flex.

Damn, Rock, its looks like your getting more desciples.

I just hope you Ho some more clubs with NV's in them this year. I want to try the NV 75, Rock, so see if you can Ho something with one of those in it. Same price as the last 2, deal?

The NV works for me, I am just too cheap to pay full price on one.
