I've looked on the Callaway website, and if you compare the numbers "10", the font is completely different...

Where'd you get it, or where's it from?

Here's a rule of thumb. Unless it's from Callaway or a well known store, don't buy new on any - ANY - auction site. That includes e-bay, of course.

If it's used, use Paypal and pay with a credit card. That way you're covered twice.

He is a club ho for sure. I checked his feedback as a buyer and seller and he buys and sells drivers every week. He has 1600 feedbacks with a 99% rating. I asked for the serial # and he sent it to me- 7001914827. I emailed Callaway to verify. He sells some new stuff but mostly slightly used. Here is a picture comparing a real Ft-i to a fake with a brief description. The 10 looks the same on this one as the real one on the right.

The counterfitters are getting them much better though. I quit buying on e-bay long ago.

Callaway just called me back and said the club is real. They told me all the details and they match up. I am going to buy it now.

The comparison thing you posted is a great thing to have. The most obvious different I see there is the length/shape of the hosel. Based on that and looking at your pictures I would've suggested it's real too. But Callaway might know what they're talking about.

Once Callaway called me and told me the serial # matched a LH 10* Ft-i with a stock 586 reg shaft, I was convinced. All I told them in my email was the serial #. They also told me where it was purchased and that state matched up with the state from the seller. I was very reluctant to buy it even though his feedback looked good, there are alot of fakes out there. The guy from Callaway said they get hundreds of calls every week about fake clubs on Ebay. I guess I dodged a bullet with this one. Like I needed another driver, :laugh: I haven't even hit the 425 with the Accra on the course yet and I bought another one. Oh well, I will have 2 to test and fight for a spot in the bag. Winter is hell for a club ho, :laugh:

Well, I needed this driver like another hole in the head, but it's on the way. I figured I can keep one of them and sell the other one. I hit the FT-i the other day at the local Golftown and really like the feel and look at address. I hated the square drivers when they first came out and swore I would never own one. I take it all back now, :laugh: I actually like the stock Speeder shaft also, so hopefully I like it as much on the course in the spring.
